Fruit that Helps You Hear Nutritionists tell us that certain foods are especially good for specific functions of our body. Carrots are good for our eyes. Bananas provide needed potassium. Prunes give us fiber. And so on. And there is a fruit that helps us hear, hear our Father’s voice that is. It’s the fruit of the Holy Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit in our lives does not originate from usit originates from the Holy Spirit and by our yielding to the Holy Spirit. When our lives produce the fruit of the Spirit, it is the evidence that we are yielding to Him as we should. And as we yield to Him, His voice becomes clearer and clearer. We are told to examine ourselves (2 Corinthians 13:5). And we should examine ourselves to check if the fruit of the Spirit is evident in our lives (Galations 5:2223a). Here is the list of the Spirit’s fruit:
The word “fruit” in Galations 5:22 is the Greek word, “Karpos”, which means: “that which originates or comes from something, an effect, result.” His fruit in our lives is exactly thatHIS fruit. We do not create itwe just yield to His will and presence in our lives. If any of the fruit is missing in our life, our ability to hear will be impaired and the message can become tainted. When we yield ourselves, allowing the Holy Spirit to flow through us, His voice is much easier to recognize. It is my prayer for you that Father will continue to help you to hear His voice, and more and more frequently.
